Who knew that what I loved most to do all these years was to help others with their math problems. Not to actually do them myself. Who knew that I preferred showing a student how to do the Eskimo roll in a kayak than to do it myself.”

I think that one of my favorite part of Logan’s bedtime routine is after I read him a story, he tells one to me. He either gets a book and tells me what is happening in the pictures or he makes one up from his day.

“Once-upon-a-time” he will say as he taps his chin with his finger, he looks up to the ceiling … you can practically see the wheels in his head spinning. And then I get a story filled with sound effects, voices, and animal noises.

It makes me smile just thinking about it.

Share something special with your child, let them tell you a story, you will get the chance to get a glimpse into their world!!

Carrie is also the owner of CL Consulting and Administrative Services, she has been working in the administrative and customer service fields for the past 20 years. For the past 5 years she has provided business plan writing assistance, marketing strategy coaching to small start up businesses, and marketing/promotions management to authors, and online publishing houses. She has won awards and professional recognition for her customer service, and has been asked to help facilitate customer service training.

She gave some great tips on business, promotion, and how to put a winning business proposal together!
